STAR Galaxy
STAR Education is a company that is contracted by LAUSD to provide after school care and enrichment services to Riverside Drive Charter School. STAR Education is a fee-based program for interested parents to sign up. Please read the information below to learn more about the STAR Education Program.
GALAXY is STAR Education's regular after school program that runs daily from dismissal time until 6PM. The students start off having snack during our sign in time then proceed to rotate through different enrichment activities every hour such as chess, math, literacy, cooking, theater, science, art, sports, homework support, and etc. Activities such as sports and homework support are built into the schedule more regularly, however subjects such as theater, art, science, cooking and etc. are scheduled for specific days of the week.
All enrollment will be conducted online starting on August 15, 2019. Please visit this website to complete the enrollment process: riverside.starinc.org. Enrollment must be completed two days prior to the day you would want your child to start. GALAXY after school program begins on the first day of school.
